the gumball ceremony

prayer ministries crayons

Prayer Ministries is one of the coolest places at the Wycliffe office. And I’m not just saying that because it’s where I happen to volunteer. :) From my little desk I can see vases and vases full of crayons. Each crayon represents one of the languages spoken in the world today. How many of those have the full Bible? Only the one vase in the very middle!

Another cool visual representation is the gumball display. Each gumball represents one person who has signed up to pray for a specific Bibleless people group. Twice a month the display is updated and new gumballs are added. And today I got to help!

I’m proud to be one of those 17,000+ gumballs, and you can be a gumball too! Sign up to pray at
