Every Saturday members of the church meet to do routine maintenance such as pulling weeds, sweeping the yard, etc. This weekend we gathered for a more serious remodeling–to “maticar.” Many homes and buildings are built by tying together a wood frame, and then slowly filling in the open spaces with blobs of mud. Every so often part of the side will start to fall and need an extra coat of mud. With many upcoming events (ordination service and baptism) it is perfect timing to give the church a pick-me-up. And what a fun experience it was!

Take a little blob in your hand and throw it on the wall. It’s the productive sort of mud fight.
