This past weekend I was invited to attend a wedding! It was quite a celebration. The wedding was part of the church service on Sunday morning. The bride arrived in a white dress and there were many choral groups that sang special songs for the couple.
The invitation for the wedding said that after the ceremony attendees were invited for a cup of water at the house of the newlyweds. Thankfully another missionary had given me a heads up that “a cup of water” is what they call the reception. The church had prepared a feast! It was a wonderful time of celebration, fanta and a special song for cutting the cake.
